CJCK Naskapi Radio

CJCK Naskapi Radio is much more than a radio station: it's a daily link between community members, a space for cultural expression and an essential transmission tool. Broadcasting daily from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM, it plays a key role in information, culture and community participation in Kawawachikamach.

An echo of everyday life, between tradition and modernity

Managed with passion, the station broadcasts a variety of programs: local announcements, weather reports, public affairs shows, Indigenous music and national news. Each program is carefully designed to reflect the realities and needs of the Naskapi Nation.

A living voice for the Naskapi Nation

In addition to its news segments, CJCK actively contributes to the preservation of Naskapi traditions and social vitality. Morning programs include Gospel readings, public health messages and community bulletins. In the evenings, the airwaves become an interactive space, with special song requests, open discussions and can't-miss bingo evenings on Tuesdays and Fridays.
